Rebecca Aguilera-Gardiner

Rebecca Aguilera-Gardiner is the Vice President and Co-Owner of Diego & Son Printing, a successful SDVOSB/DVBE/MBE second-generation printing business in San Diego. She has over twenty-eight years of experience in sales and marketing and has been essential to the growth of the 49-year-old family-owned business. Her list of corporate clients includes CVS Pharmacy, MetLife, Blue Shield, SDG&E, Southern California Edison, MWD, and more.

Rebecca is also active in the community and was Chair of the San Diego Workforce Investment Board from 2013 – 2015. She is a member of Business Leaders United which supports workforce programs throughout the U.S. She is currently a member of the CalVet DVBE Advisory Council, the California Insurance Diversity Task Force,  the California Small Business Recovery Group, and a Diversity Advisor Board Member.

Rebecca is also the CEO and Co-Founder of Veterans In Business (VIB) Network, a nonprofit 501(c)3 that advocates for all Veteran businesses nationwide. The VIB Network helps build connections between Veteran businesses, Corporations, Government Agencies, and Prime Contractors looking to create business opportunities. 

She has helped Diego & Son Printing win several awards including MBE Supplier of the year and Family-Owned business of the year. In 2016, Rebecca was the first woman to receive the John Rak Award for her dedication to helping SDVOSBs. She was honored at the MCCSN “Women Leading the Way” in March 2017. She was given the Leadership Award in 2019 at the Women of Excellence event with Diversity Professionals. During COVID, she orchestrated a successful virtual conference for the VIB Network which received the International Bronze Stevie Award for Event of the Year.
