Julia Cooksey Evans is a Government Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility professional with a proven track record of innovative solutions, relationship management and people development. With over fifteen plus years of experience Julia she has worked for high profile companies such as Frontier Communications, State Farm Insurance Companies and Verizon. 

Julia is actively involved with community-based organizations including the Southern California Young Women’s Commission, and EmpowHer Institute and previously served on the Central City Association Executive Committee, USC Black Alumni Association Advisory Council, and the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce boards. In addition, Julia is a 2005 alum of the Los Angeles African American Women’s Public Policy Institute, a 2009 Leadership Southern California Fellow, Published Author, and Founder of nonprofit organization, Coloring Over Cancer. 

Julia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. Julia was born and raised in California and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
