Vaughn M. Williams III currently serves as the Principal Supplier Diversity Advisor for SoCalGas Company. In this capacity, he is responsible for ensuring the advancement of small, minority, and underrepresented businesses. This position coincides with his passion for service and economic development. Vaughn has worked in various roles of Human Development which include the management of a multi-million-dollar social service program designed to employ at-risk youth, non-custodial parents, ex-offenders, and the chronically underserved. Additionally, he served as one of five recruiters on the Nissan Relocation Project from Los Angeles to Nashville, staffing and on-boarding recruits in the areas of IT and Customer Service.

Vaughn holds a Masters’ Degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelors’ Degree in Public Administration from the California State University at Dominguez Hills, and a Certificate in Public Speaking from the Los Angeles Announcers Guild. In addition, he is a graduate of both the FBI Citizens Academy and the Southern California Leadership Network (Leadership LA).

Vaughn is extremely dedicated, detailed and has the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. He understands today’s global workforce and embraces new challenges.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors for IMPACT Media, Home -at – Last CDC (Board Chair), and South Los Angeles Regional Center Friends of SCLARC (Board Member) and the Diversity Professionals. His daily mission is to ensure the advancement of people in underserved communities, and currently resides in the Los Angeles area and enjoys outdoor recreational activities to include cycling, running and nature walk with friends.
